Thanks for a great 2016 event! We've already started planning for 2017 so stay tuned!

Our philosophy at Centurion Cycling is to encourage the growth of cycling, promote healthy lifestyle choices in our communities and among our competitors, and to give back through our Charity Partner Program and Centurion Cycling Foundation.

The following organizations are partnering with Centurion Cycling at Subaru Centurion The Blue Mountains, Canada in 2016.  Please click the logo below to register to join one of the Charity Teams or to support them directly through a donation.

At Centurion Cycling, we seek to align ourselves with large and small non-profit organizations in search of an unique platform in which to increase awareness of their efforts and raise much needed funds. Through this partnership, organizations can focus their energies on building awareness, increasing team participation and raising more funds while leaving the event planning and execution to Centurion Cycling.

In 2015 Centurion Cycling Charity Partners raised a combined total of $100,000!

For Charity Partners with 25 or more team members, Centurion Cycling will provide the following benefits:

  • Online Fundraising Page (incorporated into our online registration system) to raise funds
  • Hospitality tent in the Centurion Expo for the partner charity
  • Starting corral for the Charity Team
  • Time at the Expo podium to raise awareness of the charity partner and congratulate the team
  • One free entry per 25 registered team members to use as the charity sees fit

For those organizations with more than 50 team members, Centurion Cycling will develop a customized partner program.

Centurion Cycling is also happy to help you develop specialized merchandise (customized jerseys) and arrange group lodging for your charity team.

Sugoi is excited to be the Official Apparel sponsor of Centurion and would like to offer all teams participating 10% OFF their custom order.

Sugoi just launched a new custom website that makes designing your jersey easy and fast! Just use the “Quick Design”  feature on the website and in minutes you can design a jersey by selecting the background design, picking your colours, then emailing Sugoi your logos.

We strongly believe in giving back and the North America Sports Community Foundation has allocated more than $1 million in grants to support a wide variety of charitable programs.

Since 2010, here is how the Centurion Cycling Foundation has supported our event communities.

In Ontario, a partnership was established with the aim of encouraging Ontario’s young road racers and rewarding the riders who competed in many of the Youth Cup Road Races and achieved outstanding results. The U15 category was selected as a focus and at the Ontario Cycling Association’s Cycling Celebration awards banquet, U15 series champions Adam Jamieson and Farleigh Creswicke were presented with brand-new 2011 Cervelo road bikes to recognize their achievements this season and motivate them to continue to achieve great results.

In Ontario, the Centurion Cycling Foundation made donations to the following groups in recognition of the volunteer efforts for Centurion Canada: Clearview Midget B, Harmony North Chorus, Jean Vanier High School, Gray Grannies, 1944 EME Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, Stayner Minor Hockey Assn, Collingwood Clippers Swim Club, Clearview Ice Cats Midget B, Thornbury Clarksburg Rotary Club, Valley Out Reach.

In Wisconsin, we partnered with DreamBikes the last two years to support their programs and to host community bikes drives in the week leading up to Centurion Wisconsin. Dream Bikes is a non-profit used bicycle store strategically placed in low-income troubled communities. Their goal is to make a real difference in the lives of the kids and their communities, by changing the world one kid and one bike at a time.  In addition, the Centurion Cycling Foundation hosted a Charity Challenge donating money to the charity group with the fastest Time Trial time and to the charity group who raised the most money through their charity team.

In Wisconsin, the following groups received donations from the Centurion Cycling Foundation for their volunteer support: Team Survivor, MHS Ski Team, Madison Area Outdoor Group, Oregon Band Boosters, Mad City Ski Team, Middleton Boy Scout Troop 87, Zion City Church, Henry Vilas Zoo, Madison FC U14 Soccer Club.

In Colorado, we partnered with the Davis Phinney Foundation to donate five Cannondale tandem bikes to the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Neurological Restoration.  The Center is nationally recognized for expertise in medical management and innovations in the surgical treatment of movement disorders (Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor or dystonia). In addition, the Centurion Cycling Foundation made donations to the following groups in support of their volunteer efforts for Centurion Colorado: ProJect Yes, BHS Lacrosse Team, Lyons Youth Softball Assoc/ LYBSA, Lyons Community Foundation, Lyons High School Band, Volunteer Connection, Boulder Bison Junior Hockey Team.

The Subaru Centurion Next Wave Cycling Team is Ontario's new program to develop the next wave of Canadian Cyclists. The team consists of (10) elite male riders, (2-4) elite female riders and (6-8) 12-14 year old entry level riders. The team was developed to support these young cyclists who have the desire and talent to make national teams and more and will stand for excellence, dedication and mentoring them in sport and life. The real benefit of supporting these youth comes from developing healthy young people who learn what it takes to succeed in life. Young people who can influence other of their generation. The support package includes: 2 team coaches for 4 training days per week for 11 months a year, team apparel, cycling shoes, helmets, training camps, travel to events, race entry fees, etc.

We also want  to share some exciting news  about another new  partnership we have formed to raise money for charity.  Centurion Cycling is joining forces with the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in order to provide you with an opportunity to fundraise and make a difference at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top 5 cancer centres in the world.

We will provide you with access to a personal fundraising page that you can use to solicit donations and keep track of the money you've raised.   We'll also share impact stories so that you can give your donors examples of where the fundraising dollars are going. As well, if you would like to gather a group of cycling warriors, we'd be thrilled to host a tour of the Princess Margaret so that you can see and hear first-hand about the cancer research being done right here in Ontario that has impact around the world.

And, since we know you love cycling, there's more good news. Why not keep those legs pedaling and consider registering for another great cycling event, the 2016 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.   All the funds you've raised for the Princess Margaret  Centre during your 2015 Centurion Ride can be credited to your 2016 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer account. As a Centurion Rider, we'd also be pleased to offer you a discounted registration for the 2016 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. Register by September 1st for only $25 when you use Promo Code CENTURION2015. Have double the cycling fun while helping cancer research!
